In their efforts to bring unlimited energy to the world, the scientists at HELIOS Reactors Inc have developed a new type of fusion reactor. They’ve brought one for a press conference, but their chief scientist has gone missing...
The countdown has begun. The reactor is making very scary noises and keeps going on about “Imminent Catastrophic Meltdown”. Your team needs to shut it down.
Armed with only scraps of the instruction manual, your team must complete preparatory tasks to unlock the shut-down sequence:
Coolant Transplant – A cerebral challenge for exact measurement.
Isotope Slope – A physical challenge to sort particles.
Reaction Coil Spoil – Assemble coils under pressure.
Radiation Station – Separate radioactive waste safely.
Core Concerns – A trust exercise to ensure safety.
After completing these tasks, teams nominate members for the final shutdown. Get it right and we’ll be home for tea and medals. Get it wrong and you won’t even know it…
